Crochet Hook Case

Pattern INSIDE Chain 21 Prep Row: SC in the 2nd chain from hook and every chain across. (20 SC total) Note: Chain 2 does NOT count as first DC for next row STEP 1: Chain 2 & Turn, DC in 3rd stitch from hook, and next 4 stitches STEP 2: DC in back loop of next 15 stitches STEP 3: Imagine a clock. Your work would now be at 3 o'clock. Turn your work so that it is at 6 o'clock. Work 1 DC in every front loop across. Note: After your first few DC, it may be easier to turn your work towards "9 o'clock" to complete the rest of your DC STEP 4: Chain 1. Insert hook into the first front DC and the first back DC, and complete 1 SC. Complete 14 more SC in front/back DC to join to make a pocket. Chain 1 & Turn. (15 SC total) STEP 5: SC in next 15 stitches. Note: you are only SC in SC from previous row. STEP 6: DC in next 5 stitches. Chain 2 & Turn. REPEAT STEPS 1-6 UNTIL YOU HAVE YUR DESIRED AMOUNT OF POCKETS. WHEN YOU REACH YOUR LAST POCKET, DO NOT CHAIN 2 AT THE END OF STEP 6. OUTSIDE Chain 23 ROW 1: SC in 2nd chain from hook and every chain across. Chain 1 & Turn. (22 SC total) ROW 2: Color Change SC in 2nd chain from hook and every stitch across. Chain 1 & Turn. REPEAT ROW 2 UNTIL THE LENGTH OF YOUR WORK MATCHES THE LENGTH OF YOUR INSIDE.
