푸켓 요트 차터 일주일 (feat. 국제요트자격증)

We chartered the catamaran Fountaine Pajot 45 from Phuket and traveled together with a group of four for a week on the open sea, visiting the islands surrounding Phuket and even Krabi. This trip was organized by a member of our family who has long dreamed of chartering an overseas yacht, and I joined them. We departed from Phuket and freely traveled between various islands, fully enjoying our time at sea by eating, resting, and swimming on the yacht, and occasionally disembarking to sightsee. Since the video is quite long, it will be uploaded in multiple episodes. In this installment, I have captured the overall atmosphere of the yacht charter trip and our daily life on board. In particular, to charter and operate a yacht directly in Phuket, Thailand, you need certifications such as the ICC (International Certificate of Competence) or RYA/IYT Yachtmaster license. (If you hire a local captain, requirements may vary by company, and if you operate the vessel yourself, the relevant license is mandatory. Chartering is not possible with only a domestic yacht license.) These qualification requirements apply equally in various countries, including those in Europe, and in some cases, they are not required. Since this was our first time touring Phuket Island, we hired a local captain for a safer and more comfortable trip, and thanks to that, we were able to have a much more relaxed and enjoyable time. In this video, we share what daily life on a yacht charter really looks like. To charter and operate a yacht in Phuket, you are generally required to hold an internationally recognized license such as: ICC (International Certificate of Competence) RYA Yachtmaster IYT Yachtmaster (Requirements may vary depending on the charter company, especially if hiring a local skipper. However, if you plan to operate the yacht yourself, a valid international certification is essential. Domestic licenses are not accepted.) Since it was our first time exploring Phuket by yacht, we decided to hire a local skipper for a smoother and more enjoyable experience.
