20 Minute Neck and Shoulder Release for Stress and Anxiety

This 20-minute neck and shoulder yoga practice is designed to help release tension, ease stiffness, and create a sense of calm when stress and anxiety start showing up in the body. Many of us carry stress in the neck and shoulders without even realising it. Tight shoulders, a stiff neck, tension headaches, and that feeling of your shoulders creeping up towards your ears can all be signs that the body is holding onto stress and needs a chance to let go. This class combines gentle neck stretches, shoulder mobility work, slow rotations, and calming breathwork to help release built-up tension and encourage the body to relax. The combination of movement and breath also helps stimulate the vagus nerve, which plays an important role in the body’s ability to shift out of stress and into a more relaxed state. As the neck and shoulders begin to soften, many people notice the mind feels calmer too. This class is helpful: • when your neck and shoulders feel tight or stiff • after a stressful or demanding day • when anxiety is creating physical tension in the body • if you spend long hours sitting or working at a desk • anytime you need a moment to slow down and reset On this channel, I share yoga and breath practices for stress relief, relaxation, better sleep, mental clarity, and everyday wellbeing. ✨ Subscribe for more ways to bring you back to You Again:    / @youagain   ✨ Honest, everyday ways to calm + reset: https://bit.ly/youagainyoga #neckandshoulders #stressreliefyoga #yogaforanxiety #gentleyoga #necktension Disclaimer: By participating in this video or any physical activity, you acknowledge and agree that you do so voluntarily and at your own risk.
