The Makioka Sisters, Junichiro Tanizaki - Book Review
Such a gorgeous novel. There is something quite compelling about having to slow down to go deep into the lives of characters who are just as real to me as my own friends. Sachiko, Yukiko and Taeko are very much people I have known, listened to, sympathized with and miss them when they are not around.
