Pratyabhijna Hridayam - प्रत्यभिज्ञा (प्रति+अभिज्ञा) हृदयम्, which can be translated as Heart of (Doctrine of) Re-Cognition, is a branch of Shaivism, founded by Somananda in late 9th Century CE. Due to its massive popularity in Kashmir, it is known as Kashmir Shaivism. It believes in non-dualistic (अद्वैत- meaning "Not Two") nature of reality, listing 36 elements or principles known as "Tattvas" explaining the origin of universe & the process of cosmic evolution. Kashmir Saiva Philosophy has been well explained in this video by Sis Vibha Saksena, an M.Tech & Software Consultant, by profession, she is a proficient speaker & Secretary of Noida (U.P.)
