In traditional Chinese dictionaries, xiao in shēng xiào is marked as fourth tone. In oral regular conversations, the majority of native Mandarin speakers in Mainland China use the first tone. There are also some online dictionaries have changed its pinyin into shēng xiāo/xiào. The channel’s main recommendation is a 10-minute Chinese lesson designed for children with no background of Chinese learning and whose native language is not Chinese. It is taught by Ms Pebbles and assisted by Alexa, a native English assistant. All courses are personally designed by Ms Pebbles. The content covers daily conversations in Mandarin and basic Chinese vocabulary. Each lesson will use funny stories or games as an introduction to enhance the fun of Chinese learning.
