Jean-Pierre Hutin : 30 ans après, l’héritage du fondateur de 30 Millions d’Amis

Thirty years ago, Jean-Pierre Hutin passed away, just one year after the creation of the 30 Million Friends Foundation. A journalist, a visual storyteller, a media veteran, and a devoted animal lover, he touched the lives of several generations of television viewers with the show 30 Million Friends, which he created alongside his wife, Reha Hutin. With Mabrouk, Mabrouk Junior, Mabrouka, and all the other mascots that became famous, Jean-Pierre Hutin brought animals into French homes… and, more importantly, into people's minds. A pioneer in animal welfare, he championed essential causes from the outset: the fight against abandonment, the protection of dogs and cats, support for animal shelters, and denunciation of animal testing, the euthanasia of animals in pounds, and the inhumane transport of farm animals. Since his passing, Reha Hutin has carried on their shared fight as head of the 30 Million Friends Foundation. Thirty years later, his commitment continues to change the lives of millions of animals. A tribute to the man who dedicated his life to their protection. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 30 Million Friends Foundation: Animal protection and defense.
