2006 Hyundai Santa Fe 4wd Front Left Axle Replacement. In this video I'm replacing the driver's side front axle, due to ABS faults. On this model, the wheel speed sensor watches "teeth" on a ring that is pressed on the outer axle hub. In this particular case, the ring had rusted, cracked, and fell off. As a result, the vehicle cannot see movement in that wheel, and essentially assumes the wheel is not turning, even though the other three are. This causes a variety of other drivetrain related codes, and disables certain safety features of the vehicle. While the owner obtained axle wasn't initially the correct axle, the owner opted to buy one locally. This made completing this, the same day, possible. "You've got no more excuses...
