Webster Now: Roundtables, Reassessment, and a Development Pause

Hey Webster! This week, we’re taking a closer look at the information behind a few local updates, including the pause in Town Board roundtables, the reassessment mailer many residents recently received, the temporary development moratorium, and the first school year under the bell-to-bell phone policy. We’ll walk through what was said, what information is available, and where you can look for yourself. Clarification: After this episode was recorded, we reviewed additional 2025 Town Board meeting videos and found that there were several meetings in which a full board roundtable did not occur. In many of those instances, there appeared to be a practical reason, such as a lengthy agenda, moving into executive session, or adjournment following a major agenda item. Because this additional review was completed after the episode was released, we are adding this clarification to provide viewers with additional historical context.
