Presidential Ski Traverse
Linking up (and skiing) the Presidentials picking off the best skiing along the way. Aside from early winds, conditions allowed for efficient travel, sliding over rime, windslab, and everything in between. It's a bit of a puzzle to figure out the best method of travel across the ridgeline but landed on a combination of ski / boot crampons, skinning, and booting my way north to south. Would highly recommend this tour if the conditions are good, with the option of skipping several of the ski descents that are fickle. 00:40 - Madison Snowfields 02:15 - Adams Snowfields 03:20 - Castle Ravine (Jefferson) 05:20 - Jefferson Ravine 07:10 - Pipeline Gully (Clay) 09:34 - Mount Washington (Snowfields + The Lip) 12:04 - Double Barrel (Monroe) 14:38 - Pleasant Brook (Eisenhower) 15:50 - Mt Pierce to Gibbs Brook Strava Route: / strava
