The role of an accelerator like TEC4I is to help those with an idea understand what they're really lacking: skills, a bankable dossier, access to European finance, and the ability to write tenders. An "academy" program brings eight or ten entrepreneurs together in a classroom, challenges them on the solidity of their ideas, and guides them through the process of finding credit. Casaleggi compares the program to a nursery: it helps businesses emerge and grow into five, ten, or thirty million euro revenues, not just those with half a billion.
