Even the biggest enthusiasts are now beginning to realize that the boisterous promises made by the North Hessian economic miracle and the regional job engine will probably have to be written off. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, because experts warned as early as the planning phase: Kassel will be a subsidy business. So why did everyone involved keep going? What drove you?
