Are Car Insurance Photo Estimates Accurate?
According to TV commercials, insurance companies can estimate the cost of damage to your car by sending a photo. Body shop owners across the country told Inside Edition’s Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero it's not that simple. “They are cheating and undervaluing, understating the actual damages on these cars,” Robert Jesberger said. He owns Mid-Island Collision in Long Island, NY and says he's constantly battling insurance companies over what he calls “lowball photo estimates.” #InsideEdition
