When I got a flat tire, I discovered the winch was faulty, and removing my spare tire was difficult and complicated. This winch sells for over €400 new and over €150 used, with the uncertainty of whether it will actually work, so I decided to try and repair it. After repairing it, the winch works well, but you have to unscrew the cable to remove it (the quick-release mechanism is no longer secure) and then screw it back in completely to put it back in place. During the repair, I missed filming the repair of the steel cable, which I heated and tightened to make it functional. I'll make a video of the winch and spare tire installation on the Scenic.
