A makeup artist from the interior of São Paulo experienced an unusual situation when she discovered she was pregnant only in her eighth month of gestation. Tainara Aranda, a resident of Serrana (SP) and married for seven years, initially believed that her abdominal discomfort was caused by constipation. The revelation came after a pregnancy test purchased along with laxatives. Tainara reported that the suspicion arose when her husband noticed changes in the shape of her belly. Despite this, she didn't consider the possibility until she took the test. The discovery was confirmed by a doctor the day after the positive pharmacy test. The story gained traction on social media due to the surprise caused by the absence of typical pregnancy symptoms. Because she was using oral contraceptives continuously without regular menstrual breaks, Tainara didn't notice the common bodily changes during pregnancy. After more detailed medical examinations, it became clear that she was already 30 weeks pregnant—close to her eighth month. Although the initial shock was great for Tainara and her family, everyone quickly adapted to the news. The baby was named Clarice in honor of the writer Clarice Lispector and is healthy according to the latest tests.
