DANCE MEET FASHION SHOW

The Koubek Center recently hosted the final presentation of Dance Meets Fashion, an immersive experience where the worlds of movement and design intertwine. This project was created to support choreographers and dancers by providing the tools necessary to showcase their artistry and promote their unique creative visions. The showcase featured five selected dance pieces, each accompanied by original costumes designed by Dario Feal, developed in a conceptual dialogue with the bodily language of each performance. Performances & Dancers: "Christine & Raoul" – Performed by Anthony Caio & Kendall Foley. "If I Should Lose You" – Performed by Bia Lampert. "Coreometrajes" – Performed by Ariel Morilla & Anette Sanchez. "Cantiñas" – Presented by Escuela Flamenca Gabriela Fonseca. Project Jurors: The pieces were selected and reviewed by a distinguished panel of experts: Arantxa Ochoa, Brigid Baker, Marisol Blanco, Pablo Malco, and Pioneer Winter. This event concluded with a Q&A conversation, offering the audience a deeper look into the collaborative processes between the choreographers and the design curator.
