Years ago, Richard chose to study medicine because he wanted to learn to understand who he was. He had a philosophical inclination and, in hindsight, was always 'spiritual', although he didn't label it that way back then. Nowadays, he calls his perspective 'holistic' and combines Western medicine—which he embraced even more after working as a doctor in India, where he was able to cure patients with leprosy and tuberculosis, among other conditions, thanks to medication—with techniques and treatments from other cultures and eras. In this healing conversation, Richard talks about his work as a GP and spiritual coach, the influence of the trips he made to Egypt—and his extraordinary experience in a sarcophagus inside a pyramid—and about the healing power of the soul and the importance of finding meaning in our lives.
