On y est presque… Mais va t elle démarrer ?

In this latest step in the restoration of my BMW 120d, I'll start by replacing the turbo's variable geometry before checking the clutch's automatic adjustment. A problem with the turbo's fork joint forces me to wait a week, but once I receive the part, I can finally reassemble the gearbox and then the engine/gearbox assembly into the body from above. I take the opportunity to remove the intake flaps and the EGR valve, before finishing by completely reassembling the intake manifold. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🔧 Tools used in this video: Kingbolen Battery Tester: https://amzn.to/3UFZWrb (5% off coupon code: 111111ZZ) Pit Jack: https://s.vevor.com/QTXS3G (5% off coupon code: VVALL05) 3-Ton Air Jack: https://s.vevor.com/bfRHem M47 Timing Belt Kit: https://amzn.to/4o5DpRM Damper Pulley Locking Tool: https://amzn.to/44NTZ15 Torx Impact Bit Set: https://amzn.to/3IguYm8 360° Ratchet: https://amzn.to/4ayJu1B 18V Impact Wrench: https://amzn.to/3Q5IeeP Hose Clamp Pliers: https://amzn.to/3WgR5Nw Engine Stand: https://amzn.to/3TPiBB9 Workshop Crane: https://amzn.to/4ac3reN Load Balancer: https://amzn.to/3TCw3XF --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can also follow me on:   / manuclassiccar     / manuclassiccar   --------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the meantime, I'm going back to work in the workshop 🏭🏃‍♂️ #BMW120D #M47 #EngineReassembly #ManuClassicCar
