Conjuração Baiana / Revolta dos Alfaiates (resumo)

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for watching. May God bless you all 🙏 🎁 Gift: https://s.shopee.com.br/gGv040vWa The Bahian Conspiracy, or Tailors' Revolt, was an emancipatory movement that took place in Salvador in 1798. Unlike the Minas Gerais Conspiracy, it had great popular participation, including tailors, shoemakers, and freed slaves, who were dissatisfied with the misery and colonial oppression. Influenced by the ideals of the French Revolution, they advocated for the end of slavery, the establishment of a republic, and social equality. The movement was quickly suppressed, and its leaders were arrested and executed. Despite its failure, the revolt is an important landmark in Brazilian history, showing the profound social dissatisfaction and the desire for independence. To the pigs and the flies, I beg you to leave—there is nothing here that belongs to you, not even a crumb to satisfy you.
