Proofing a Hasui Woodblock Print Reproduction
In this video I will be showing my process for printing the first color proofs for a new woodblock print reproduction. The design is "Snowy Village" by Kawase Hasui created nearly a hundred years ago. I simplified the design from the original and carved four blocks for this print. A total of five impressions are needed to complete this image.
