2026 Volvo ES90 Ultra Review Is The Best EV Luxury Non German?

We take the new 2026 Volvo ES90 Ultra Single Motor onto local roads to see if this big Scandinavian fastback can challenge traditional luxury. While it isn't trying to win a horsepower war or beat German rivals around the Nürburgring, it offers a remarkably relaxed, quiet, and superbly engineered alternative. We test out the dual-chamber active air suspension, explore the limousine levels of legroom in the rear cabin, and try the automatic lane changing assist. It isn't entirely seamless, however—the Android Automotive OS software caused a few headaches during our shoot. Is the Single Motor the true sweet spot of the ES90 range?
