With 538,000 inhabitants, Den Haag is the third largest city in the Netherlands. Not only does the Dutch government sit here, but the Royal Family and the United Nations International Court of Justice also reside here. But what does the city have to offer for tourists? Lisa Kestel and Davide Castellana want to find out exactly that over two days. The challenge: You are not allowed to spend more than 300 euros. On their tour, the duo are guided by tips from locals: In Marianne's Bookstore they discover how to combine passion for good coffee with the sale of second-hand books and even offer individual city tours by bike and boat. The fact that Den Haag also offers a canal tour around the city surprised the two city explorers as well as the architectural juxtaposition of Art Nouveau buildings, a futuristic skyline and the modern facades in the old style. In "Haagsche Bluf", a modernized quarter in the center of the city, you will also find a hip hotel for urban people.
