MARTHA AND THE MUFFINS, This Is The Ice Age, 1981.

The title track from their brilliant album of the same name 'This is the Ice Age'. The album was finally issued on CD for the first time back in 2005. This is well worth searching out especially for the two extra tracks recorded at the same time, one of them-(in my opinion)-'Twenty-two in Cincinnati' should of definitely been on the album. Sadly the CD release came while the internet was still very much in its infancy back in 2005 so sales figures were pretty humble at the time & not many copies were pressed. Today the CD version fetches well over £100 on the likes of ebay, Discogs etc. Unfortunately the band don't own the rights to the album so a CD reissue is very unlikely at the moment. It doesn't appear on any digital platforms either.
