Fordson Super Dexta stuck in gear fix

The neighbor showed up with is tractor stuck in reverse. The shifter could not be move out of its position. The Hi/Low shifter was still working properly. This is a fairly common problem when the end of the shifter became worn out. Simply remove the shifter assembly, align the shift rail, reassemble. You can by new shifter assembly from most aftermarket parts suppliers. Note, this apply to some other make and model. Hope this help.
