Crop Control Override 2.0 Beta.1 Showcase | Per-Save Crop Rules, NPC Control & Validation | FS25

🎮 Welcome to SimGamerJen Fun first, skills later. Today we’re looking at *Crop Control Override v2.0.0-beta.1* for *Farming Simulator 25* — the first beta release of the new editable GUI branch. Crop Control Override lets you manage crop availability and NPC crop behaviour on a per-save basis. You can control which crops are available, which crops NPC farmers may plant, and whether NPC crop use should be limited by actual field size. 🔗 GitHub download: https://github.com/SimGamerJen/FS25_C... Key features ✅ Editable FS25-style GUI opened with ALT+C ✅ Per-save crop policy XML ✅ Player crop enable / disable rules ✅ NPC crop enable / disable rules ✅ NPC field-size limits using actual field area ✅ Max Field display in hectares and acres ✅ Colour-coded crop rules table ✅ APPLY / FORCE APPLY / DISCARD workflow ✅ SAVE DEFAULTS with automatic backup ✅ LOAD DEFAULTS to import template rules into the active save ✅ VALIDATION tab showing blocked NPC fields ✅ RESET SCOPE cleanup by ALL, CROP, or FIELD ✅ Field-level dry-run and confirm reset ✅ German and French modDesc support ✅ ModHub TestRunner-focused packaging improvements Why this mod exists Some maps and DLCs include crops that may not suit every save, region, or roleplay setup. Maybe you’re running a realistic UK save and don’t want NPCs planting certain crops. Maybe you’re building a Montana-style crop policy. Maybe you want NPCs to use a crop only on smaller fields. Crop Control Override gives you a way to manage that from inside the game. Basic workflow Open the GUI with ALT+C. Main tabs: ALL RULES | DISABLED | NPC DISABLED | SIZE LIMITED | VALIDATION | SUMMARY | HELP Normal editing: 1. Select a crop in ALL RULES 2. Stage changes in the right-side panel 3. Use APPLY for safe changes 4. Use FORCE APPLY only when deliberately creating blocked NPC fields 5. Review VALIDATION 6. Use RESET SCOPE, RESET BLOCKED DRY-RUN, then CONFIRM RESET if cleanup is needed Beta notes This is a beta test release, not a final stable build. Please test on copied saves first and keep backups of important savegames. If you spot issues with the GUI, validation, field-size limits, Save Defaults, Load Defaults, or reset scope behaviour, let me know with the relevant section of your log file if possible. #FarmingSimulator25 #FS25 #FS25Mods #FarmingSimulatorMods #SimGamerJen
