Woolly Needlefelt Alpaca - Collab With LittleSurprisesYT

I was not happy with the Sunfelt alpaca kit because it took SO long to make the legs and checking that everything was the same size. I discovered this technique of using wool stuffing wrapped with thread from Lullubee Crafts (http://tinyurl.com/q3rfy5t) so I tried adapting it for an alpaca. Making the entire base from stuffing cut down at least 1-2 hours of work and it's much easier to ensure all the legs are the same length! I decided to use real alpaca wool just for fun, but it's quite wispy and tricky to felt. So if you want an easier project then I recommend using normal felting wool. In retrospect I would also have made the body using a cream colour so the legs show up better, and probably made the legs a bit longer too.
