Willys Jeep Rear Gas Tank Conversion Part 3!

In this video I finally fix the mistakes made in the original gas tank install. Rebuilding both rear crossmembers and relocating the tank farther back by removing the factory Cj5 skid plate finally gave me the clearance I needed for this rear gas tank conversion. The bar stock used for the straps is 1.5” X 1/4”. Now the Willys CJ3B has a stock cj5 gas tank with a 15 gallon capacity! This should apply to most cj2a, cj3a, CJ3B and cj5’s!
