🌟 Birthday Road Trip to Shreveport, Louisiana | Food, Friends, Rainy City Vibes & Easter Week Fellowship 🌟 The day after my birthday, Langston and I packed up and hit the road for a road trip to Shreveport, Louisiana! This trip was all about spending quality time—going to visit his dad while he was working in Shreveport since Langston was out of school, and reconnecting with some great friends along the way. ▪️Day 1 in Shreveport started off on a delicious note. Our local friends helped guide us to some food spots, and we were honestly way more impressed than we had expected! One of our friends is even from the same area of Louisiana we’re from, so it felt extra special getting recommendations that still felt like home but with a Shreveport twist. ▪️Day 2, the weather didn’t fully cooperate—it was rainy—so instead of doing a lot of outdoor exploring, we went shopping and rode around the city, getting a feel for Shreveport and checking out different areas. Even with the rain slowing things down, we still enjoyed seeing the city and spending time together. Since it was Easter week, we also attended a worship service, which made the trip feel even more meaningful. After church, we grabbed a meal with friends and shared good food, laughter, and fellowship to wrap things up. Overall, we had a really good time in Shreveport and would definitely visit again to explore more when the weather is better. This trip reminded us how important it is to slow down, enjoy great food, cherish friendships, and make memories—rain or shine. Thanks so much for watching!
