This time, I'd like to introduce you to the elegant city of Gochang in North Jeolla Province. I've uploaded three travel destinations I'd particularly like to introduce. Behind Yeongsanjeong Pavilion and Daeungjeon Hall, a vast camellia forest stretches. If you visit in March or April, you can see the camellia flowers in full bloom. Dosoram Hermitage Duam Chodang and Byeongbawi Rock (Nationally Designated Site of Scenic Beauty) Dongho Beach Dongho Beach boasts expansive tidal flats and a pine forest of millennia-old pines, offering breathtaking sunset views. Nighttime lighting provides a unique nighttime experience. A campsite is also available, and the beach is open from July 8 to August 16 this year. Dolmens The Gochang Dolmen Site is the largest dolmen site in Korea, comprised of approximately 440 dolmens of various sizes. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gochang Ungok Ramsar Wetland Natural Ecological Park You can also take the tour train that departs from the Ungok Wetland Visitor Center. There's an unmanned ticket booth, 1,500 won one way, closed on Mondays. The Ramsar Ungok Wetland Youth Hostel is nearby. Gochang Eupseong Fortress Hakwon Farm The green barley fields spread across the 300,000-pyeong (approximately 100,000 square meters) of farmland are beautiful, but the sight of people mingling among them is also captivating.
