Take my DOG? UK Pet paperwork is now completely useless!

It was all going SO well as we meandered through the coastal hot spots of Southern Spain, pulling up for a whistle stop visit to Gibraltar and finally arriving in Algeciras in excited anticipation of the crossing to Morocco! Having spent hours of research, hundreds of pounds and numerous vet visits in the UK over previous months to ensure our dog transit paperwork was perfect, we were gutted to hear whispers of changes in the legislation as we travelled through Europe. Apparently, any papers proving Rabies vaccination status and antibody test results are now completely useless and not recognised as valid if from the UK? A quick visit to a Spanish vet gave us re-newed confidence that our paperwork was good though as our titre test had been outsourced from the UK & actually performed by an EU vet in Germany...Phew! We even grabbed a Spanish Pet Passport with another new Rabies Vaccination just for good measure and future travel.
