# 025 Actualización Parcial del Yaesu FTM 300D

Accustomed to how Yaesu works, and knowing that the software they sometimes release online is incomplete—that is, they often only update one of the three firmware versions for the FTM 300D—I decided to investigate whether it was possible to update just one of the three firmwares without affecting the others. In fact, I even emailed Yaesu Japan asking if it was possible. They replied that it was, and I decided to try updating just one firmware on my transmitter to fully update the unit without waiting for a complete update. I did this, and it worked perfectly, even improving the display's speed and "smoothness" parameters. In this video, I only update the display firmware to the latest version as of October 9, 2023.
