Prof. Mordechai Kedar is an Israeli scholar of Arab Culture and a regular lecturer at many universities. He served for 25 years in the IDF military intelligence where he specialized in Islamic groups, political discourse of Arab countries and the Arabic press. Prof. Kedar has a PHD from Bar Ilan University and is fluent in both Hebrew and Arabic. He has promoted an innovative Palestinian-Israeli peace plan referred to as "the Palestinian Emirates" or the "8-state-solution".
