Disney Sing Along Songs: The Early Years - Little Wooden Head (Pinocchio)

Happy 80th Anniversary to the release of Pinocchio! This is the version of Little Wooden Head as found in Disney Sing-Along Songs: The Early Years, which was the last of its 3 sing-along releases. It had been held from new volumes of Sing Along Songs for a time, and never ended up on the Sing-Along DVDs. This is a VHS recording personally digitized. Several of the lyrics that were recorded specifically for the Sing-Along version of the song were not used in the original film, despite having been written for it. These and other unused song lyrics appeared as early as 1939 in promotional sheet music and records released a few months ahead of Pinocchio's film premiere. A couple of these non-movie lyrics can also be found on some murals in Fantasyland's Pinocchio Village Haus restaurant at Walt Disney World.
