Managing Your Executive Functioning Skills with Sarah Kesty
Sarah Kesty is a SPED Teacher and Executive Function coach. She teaches children with learning difficulties to manage their executive function skills. She also has her own podcast called ‘The Executive Function Podcast’ where she shares helpful, fun and effective strategies to support kids with executive function. This week, I had the pleasure of having Sarah Kesty as our guest on the dyslexia explored podcast. Sarah talks about the three pillars of executive function; emotional regulation, attention and focus, and managing your own learning. She also shares how she empathizes with being an outcast among peers because of her condition. Lastly, Sarah shares valuable tips on how to deal with your child being stressed at home when tackling remote learning. Watch the video to learn more about her story.
