How the Nikon 105 f2 DC lens works
Trying to figure out if I want the legendary Nikon 105 DC lens in my collection of weird lenses, so here is a little thing I made to help understand what the defocus control actually does. From all the images I looked at from others using that lens, I prefer the bokeh of the Nikon 85 D or the Zeiss planar. But having a lens with adjustable SA correction is pretty neat too! With only 6 elements it's stupidly contrasty as well! I'm no optical designer and I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time, but maybe this video could be interesting anyways :D
