Now that I've turned 60, my relationship with motorcycles has changed a little. When I was younger, there was a time when I thought the fun lay in spending money on speed, specs, and customization. But now that I'm 60, I've finally realized something. The enjoyment of motorcycling isn't determined by the amount of money you spend. Even without expensive parts or a large motorcycle, the feeling of the wind, the scenery, the coffee during a break, and the peace of mind of returning home safely—these seemingly insignificant moments might actually be the greatest luxury.
