In accordance with Decision No. 38 dated July 1, 2025, of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, the Vinh Long Newspaper, Radio and Television agency was established through the merger of the newspaper agencies and radio-television stations of the three provinces of Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, and Vinh Long. This consolidation aims to leverage existing advantages, utilize infrastructure, optimize resources, enhance information quality, and meet the development trends of modern media. Vinh Long Newspaper, Radio and Television is a multimedia press agency comprising 4 types of media: • Television: 5 channels, including THVL1, THVL2, THVL3, THVL4, and THVL5 - Ethnic language television channel. • Radio: 1 radio channel, broadcast on 3 frequencies: FM 90.2 MHz, FM 97.9 MHz (former Ben Tre area), and FM 92.7 MHz (former Tra Vinh area), broadcasting 24/24. • Print newspaper: Vinh Long Newspaper (Vietnamese edition), published 5 issues per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays; Vinh Long Newspaper (Khmer edition), published 2 issues per week on Tuesdays and Fridays. • Online newspaper: Vinh Long Online (baovinhlong.vn). • Digital Ecosystem: News portal (thvl.vn); 54 YouTube channels, 9 TikTok channels, 74 Facebook fanpages, 4 Zalo video channels; and OTT platforms including THVLi and THVLaudio.
