When the World Hates the Truth - John 15:18-27
The world often speaks of tolerance, but JESUS warned His disciples that those who follow Him would face opposition because they belong to Him. In John 15:18-27, CHRIST explains that the world's hatred is ultimately directed toward Him and the truth He proclaimed. As believers, we are not called to compromise the truth to gain acceptance. We are called to abide in CHRIST, stand faithfully upon His Word, and bear witness through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT. While the world may reject the message of the Gospel, GOD has not left His people alone. The HOLY SPIRIT testifies of CHRIST, strengthens believers, and empowers us to remain faithful even in the face of opposition. The question is not whether the world will accept us. The question is whether we will remain faithful to CHRIST.
