Level 1 Baby recruits innocent civilians to do his dirty work in the STM phase of gameplay. This is a strategy I thought of Day 1 of Season 6 but I had some other videos I wanted to do first. And, the strategy took me a couple of tries because I was either evolving too fast by killing too many civilians (not a bad problem to have) or survivors were saving my civilian army before the STM phase started (also not bad as placing civs near STM area in area X forces survivors to save them, thereby levelling up your Baby Vegeta quicker). Hence, even if you mess up this strategy somehow and don't get enough civs at area X, you will still benefit greatly!
