Aula 3: Campo elétrico resultante nulo

In this lesson, I present strategies for determining the point where the electric field becomes zero in a system with two point charges. Examples: 1) The following figure shows two point charges, Q1 and Q2. They are fixed in their positions and at a distance of 1.00 m from each other. At point P, which is at a distance of 0.50 m from charge Q2, the electric field is zero. Since Q2 = +1.0.10-7 C, the value of charge Q1 (in coulombs) is: 2) At points A and B, separated by the distance AB = 3 m, point electric charges 𝑄_𝐴=8𝜇𝐶 and 𝑄_𝐵=−2𝜇𝐶, respectively, are fixed. Determine a point where the resulting electric field vector is zero. 3) Two point charges q_1=3 μC and q_2=6 μC are placed at a distance of 1.0 m from each other. Calculate the distance, in meters, between charge q1 and the position, located between the charges, where the electric field is zero.
