My largest video to date takes a look at the restoration of a 1960s Waltham that turns out not really to be a Waltham at all. Until the mid-19th century, watch parts were made for individual watches rather than a series of watches in different locations – a process that was imprecise, time-consuming, and expensive. As a result, only the wealthy could afford watches and no two time pieces could be relied on to tell the exact same time.
