Since filming, SIG corrected the issue: every P211 now ships with a METAL recoil plug, and existing owners can get the metal replacement free. This was real at the time, SIG owned it, and I've documented the whole arc honestly. That's the channel. ════════════════════════════════════════ My SIG P211 GTO just became a $2,300 paperweight after a critical failure during shooting. The recoil spring plug - a cheap plastic part - completely shattered after only 1,500 rounds, leaving my competition pistol completely inoperable. Even worse? SIG won't sell the replacement part and wants me to ship the entire firearm back for a simple fix.
