BIRTLEY IN DAYS GONE BY

I started my You Tube channel to document how places in North East England used to be. I always have my living in the past hat on. I wish we could have done local history at school instead of far off places I was not interested in. Birtley is a special place for me lived here nearly all my life seen many changes not for the better. They say its called progress not what I would call it. A lot of our Towns have been ruined by people who thought they new best. I hang on to my memories of what Birtley used to be thats all everyone can do now.
