In this series, I want to show you where I come from — how I discovered padel, my background in tennis, and what it really takes to climb back up the rankings. Not just the wins… but also the mistakes, the lessons, and the daily work behind the scenes. In my last tournament, I made several crucial errors that I want to fix. Today, I’m focusing on one of the biggest ones: my lobs. I want to play them earlier, more aggressively — especially volley lobs — and place them in a way that forces my opponents to move. Because when they have to move for an overhead, their shot quality drops… and that gives me the chance to take back control of the point. Another key focus is my transition game. I made too many mistakes on my first volley, especially when moving forward to the net. That’s an area that needs to improve if I want to compete at a higher level again. Of course, some things — like my return — take much longer to fix. That’s not something you change in a single session. But that’s exactly what this journey is about: improving step by step.
