HELLO everyone! Welcome, or welcome BACK to my channel:) so glad you have come back to join me for another Barbie restoration tutorial! TODAY we will be going over stain removal AND vinyl recoloring. Both issues have so MANY different ways to solve the problems. I’ve been around for a WHILE and I’ve tried ALL the restoration tricks! And after many restorations, I have a way that’s efficient and effective that gives great long term results! If your way is different and you’re comfortable and happy with your way of doing it, that’s great! Most important part is you’re happy with your collection. I’m not here to tell you what to do, I’m here to help you with what to do. When using peroxide please proceed with caution and use your better judgment. Wear gloves and please handle it with care. And take your time! If peroxide is intimidating for you, you may find success in denture tablets to bleach vinyl. I have had results in soaking the head in denture tablets, but not long term results. As the darkness comes right back after a time. The most important thing to me when I restore is to keep the toys original integrity as it’s history, and to have long lasting results.
