Chutney Recipe
In this episode, Elaine shows us how to make one of the most versatile recipes. Chutney can be combined with almost anything. A great video for people starting out. Enjoy. Ingredients: 4 grated tomatoes 4 green chilies 1 small onion (chopped) 1 teaspoon, garlic 4-5 curry leaves 1 tablespoon, masala 1 teaspoon, turmeric Salt as preferred Dhania/Coriander Oil Method: 1) Heat the oil and brown the onions with the curry leaves. 2) Add the garlic and chili a minute or two later. 3) As the onions brown, add the masala, turmeric & salt. 4) Add the grated tomato and allow it to cook for 5 mins with the lid on, stirring regularly. Once the water has evaporated and the oil comes up, the chutney is ready. This should take 5-10 minutes.
