Genshin Impact x Sonic | "Jadefall Cliffside" (If Liyue was a Sonic Level) [ft. Dustin Fichter]

Just in time for the Lantern Rite, here’s a track that took a long while to make as this is my first track that uses no MIDI guitar! I worked with my guitar teacher to make this track happen, and I absolutely love how it turned out. He did the leads, backing guitar is done by me so if it sounds amateur at all then please forgive me. It was really awesome getting to collaborate with someone and finally making a full song with my guitar. :) In terms of the song itself I wanted to translate Liyue’s main theme into a Sonic-esque style. I mainly referenced Sonic Unleashed’s day stage songs and Sunset Heights, both the Sonic Forces and Shadow Generations versions (the snare drum is especially Sonic Forces Sunset Heights). These are two IPs that I love very much and that have helped me build my channel so getting to make a fusion of them was definitely a treat. Either way, I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it! (Even if by now I was just ready to get it finished.)
