I turned unusable steel into a Morgul blade

Two old worn-out files were about to go in the bin. Instead, I forge-welded them together by hand and turned them into a Morgul Blade dagger. This is my version of the Morgul Blade from Lord of the Rings — not a replica, but what I'd actually make if someone handed me the brief. Hand-forged from tool steel, with a forge-welded billet, hand-forged guard, tulip-crown pommel, and a leather-wrapped hickory handle. Part of my ongoing Lord of the Rings weapons series — previous builds include the Aragorn knife and the Orcrist sword.
