Let's go for a drive around the block in the 1939 Cadillac after 40+ years of storage!!

My dad picked up this old 1939 Cadillac a few years ago at an estate auction. The engine and transmission were out of the car when he bought and we've been working on getting it back together! We finally get to take her for a spin around the block tonight! After dad bought the car and we started sorting through all of the parts and paperwork that came with it, we found the paperwork for the engine overhaul. The overhaul was completed in 1981 and this had not been touched since!!! Let's go take her for a spin around the block and get a good listen to that flathead V-8! Obviously the car needs a good clean up and that is next on the list. Fortunately, the car has been inside in dry storage the entire time. Since this car has been sitting for over 40 years, she is due for a good buff and wax!! That is next on the list and we'll give you a good look at her after that is done!
