It turns out that there are questions that not all drillers can answer competently, and they don't tell their customers about them. As a result, situations arise where the customer is left alone with their problem: foul-smelling well water—the water smells of hydrogen sulfide... Before hiring a well driller to drill a well on your property, it's important to consider not only the cost of water drilling, the casing diameter, filter, etc., but also the risk of mixing aquifers from different levels. If so, how the annular space of your well will be sealed to prevent mixing of the aquifers and, as a result, contamination from the upper layers from entering the new drinking well. For example, a neighbor's nearby septic tank, designed as a regular cesspool, risks you drinking not clean water, but all the waste that drains into the ground. If mixing of aquifers is possible in your soil, you should avoid sealing the well pipe walls and the ground with water-conducting materials such as crushed stone, sand and gravel mix, sand, etc. The primary materials for sealing the well annulus in such cases are typically either cementing or clay backfill.
